Thomas Watson (1620 - 1686) was a non-conformist, Puritan preacher and author in England. All Things for Good, Watson's exposition of Romans 8:28, is an encouraging message about God’s sovereignty in all things. He examines the best things in life - those that we receive from the Lord, the angels and fellow believers - and the worst, like temptation and affliction, all of which benefit the believer. The book proceeds to discuss the love of God and the ultimate purpose of salvation. All Things for Good is a reassuring work which highlights the many reasons to be cheerful and to remain strong in the faith.
