  • The Assyrian Australian Association celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Diqlat Assyrian School. More than 400 former students, teachers, and school heads attended the celebration. SBS Assyrian microphone explored and interviewed the students, teachers, and many others, including members of class 1974. Over five thousand students attended the school in the past 50 years. Many became interpreters and translators, and some became priests and church clergymen. A special book was published to celebrate the fifty years of achievements.
