He suggests that both grassroots efforts by teachers and systemic support from policymakers are needed to build this trust, including clear communication channels and responsiveness to parental concerns.He also discusses his new book, The Great School Rethink 2.0, which explores innovative educational practices and how they’re implemented in real-world settings. The book features contributions from practitioners tackling challenges like AI tutoring and rethinking school structures post-pandemic.Hess concludes by emphasizing the importance of practical, sustained efforts in education reform and the unique role Louisiana plays as a national example. He encourages continued focus and collaboration among educators, policymakers, and families to build on current successes.
