What once was gained may now be lost.

I never thought my chambers would be my shelter and safety, and even then, I sleep lightly. Awake I am fearful, seeing the changes in Kane I cannot comprehend. Sleep brings me no solace, as it is lit by a burning brightness that engulfs me, and a stranger's voice I do not trust. I search for the flame that Kane had lit for me, burning in his eyes, but now I find only darkness. The fire that burned deep within my core for Kane, expounded by our bonded souls, feels cold and empty. Something lurks behind his evil stare and vindictive snarling lips, and it may threaten the lives of every soul, creature, and mortal across the realms. 

Time is running out. 

Will I be forced to make a choice that not only kills my beloved, but decimates my soul as well? Or is Willem wrong, and all hope is not lost deep within the purple haze of the Underworld? 

Kane 

The void is all around me, twisting my soul...breaking me. 

I search for her, but I cannot see. 

I call to her, but she cannot hear me. 

If I don't break free of this empty damnation, Drogaem will take it all. The Underworld is not his only target, and though I scream out warnings, my voice cannot penetrate the forever of my cage. 

Time is running out. 

Only she can save us....
