Buck Rogers is a science fiction adventure hero and comic strip created by Philip Nowlan.

Buck Rogers is a U.S. Air Force pilot who awakes from a 500-year sleep to discover that America had been overrun by Mongol invaders and is almost in ruins. Aided by his space companion Wilma Deering and his mentor, the brilliant scientist Dr. Huer, Buck Rogers defeats the invaders and frees America. A Martian and former space pirate, Black Barney, reforms and becomes Buck and Wilma’s sidekick. They continue fighting other foes…
