あらすじ・解説
Her mother warned Moriah the turtle about the fisherman’s net. In fact, her dad got caught in a net long ago and never returned home. Now she’s trapped! Oh, what can she do? What will happen to her? Misty the mermaid, Moriah’s best friend, comes to her aid in a unique way.
In the end, the two friends meet a new young friend. Corina is a loggerhead turtle who was likewise snared in the fisherman’s net, and, sadly she will bear the memory of the trauma with her always. The story remains uplifting and tender as it highlights the plight of turtle casualties in an age-appropriate manner.
