Emily Brown had moved to New York City after a painful breakup. A librarian by trade, she hoped that a job at the main branch of the public library would help her make a fresh start. But life in the city was lonely for her, even at Christmastime. As the holiday approached, she encountered Tim, another lonely soul, who had moved to the city in pursuit of a better job. But neither could overcome their fears until something magical came into their lives.
