This conversation between Shimon Peres, ninth president of Israel, and Michael Bar-Zohar, his Israeli biographer, took place about five months before Peres assumed the presidency, in July 2007. The men clearly have a strong rapport (as well as beautiful Hebrew accents) and the program flows effortlessly as the author and statesman discuss the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, Peres' love for his wife, living on the kibbutz, and poetry.
