あらすじ・解説
Following the passing of her mother, Ella Emerson faces a whirlwind of upheaval. Burdened by family debt, her house must be sold, and her uncle arranges for her to become a Mail Order Bride. Her intended husband, Lawrence Carrington, is a handsome, wealthy rancher in Mountain Pass, Oregon. With little say in the matter, Ella agrees to the arrangement to honor her mother's memory.
As she embarks on this new chapter, Ella carries the bittersweet memory of her lost love, Leroy. Thousands of miles from home, she struggles to adapt to her new life. Yet, she finds Lawrence and his sister to be warm and welcoming, eager to embrace her as part of their family. Falling in love with Lawrence would be all too easy if her heart weren't still buried in the past.
