One thousand years after World War III in a land that was once the beautiful concept of the US, the wealthiest and most privileged of society thrive while the remaining suffer under the cruel rule of the Jenroe regime. The need to survive the war and rebuild the country led to actions and consequences, leaving no family safe from the Jenroe's political mission.
On the night of her birth, Piper Sparrow (Rowe) is ripped from the arms of her mother in the privileged territory of Imperium and delivered to a new mother - Maya Pense. Undetected by the Medical Mission, she has entered the world with the mark of the "Righter".
As the years pass, the gift of the Righter begins to surface, and Rowe's resentment for the injustices of the Jenroe Administration breeds a vengeance of volcanic proportions. She soon learns she has the ability to rewrite history and change any event she so desires.
Unfortunately, when the Jenroes cruelly terminate all contact with her biological sister...all bets are off...and Rowe unleashes the gift of the Righter!
