Dra Ortiz meets for a second episode with Jessica M. Lascano to learn more about her career background. Jessica Lascano is the owner and CEO of Strive ABC. She is an NCSP (Nationally Certified School Psychologist), Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP #3613), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #8762). Jessica has worked in the field for nearly 20 years. The bulk of her career has been spent supporting children who have social, emotional and behavioral challenges. She has worked as a special education teacher, school counselor, school psychologist, adjunct professor, parent trainer, social skills trainer, and university level mentor for teachers and school psychologists. She runs an Instagram account called @PracticalSchoolPsychology where she shares resources, explanations and ideas around special education, school psychology, behavior, mental health and related topics. Jessica has an interest in helping others to grow, and strongly believes that by working together, we can impact the lives of many more children than we could alone.
