Kendall is a mom of two, global adventurer, avid runner, book lover and cookie monster. In addition to leading the socially-conscious business with her sister, has committed time to serving the community as a supporter of Hope Mission’s Kids in Action program, member of the 1000 Women Advisory Committee for Norquest College, and a run ambassador for lululemon athletica. A graduate of the University of Victoria and Grenoble Ecole de Management in France, she was selected as one of Avenue magazine’s 2014 Top 40 Under 40 for her work at Poppy Barley, Western Living’s “Ones to Watch” round up at the 2014 Designers of the Year Awards.

    Justine Barber has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and a Master of Arts in Conflict Analysis from the University of Kent, and has spent time working in consulting and conflict prevention prior to founding Poppy Barley with her sister in 2012. Justine is married and a mother to two young sons; in her free time she enjoys running, reading and relaxing through 'Netflix and wine.' Justine has won the Alumni Innovation award from the U of A, was named one of Western Living Designers of the Year ‘Ones to Watch’.
