  • Released in 2002, A Walk To Remember was a coming-of-age romantic drama based on Nicholas Sparks’ 1999 novel published under the same name. Starring Shane West and Mandy Moore, the story follows rebellious teenage Landon who falls in love with Jamie, the town minister’s daughter and professed believer. While not intended to be a “Christian film,” the explicit spiritual themes made it the focus of many conversations in the Church.
