We had the opportunity to sit down with a legend in high school football that has made a huge impact on so many lives by just doing that. Coach Godsey is entering his 28th season as a head coach in high school and he has an astonishing record of 280 wins and 84 losses. Coach Godsey doesn't worry about the numbers in the wins column, he is more focused on the lives he can make a difference in on a daily basis. "Leave it better than you found it".....Coach Gross shared with us that he was taught at a young age, to always leave it better than you found it. "Make yourself valuable!" Coach Higgins has been extremely blessed having the opportunity to coach in 12 state championship. His success is strictly on hard work, being tough, and being valuable on a daily basis. It was a lot of fun being able to sit down and talk Mars Hill Panther football with Coach Higgins.
