In the north eastern corner of Brighton & Hove, just beyond a wrought iron gates is Woodvale Crematorium. In December 1947, the picturesque chapel, situated in amongst the moss covered gothic toms and elaborately crafted angel statues, hosted the funeral of the man who called himself The Great Beast 666 - Aleister Crowley.
