 In der vierten Episode erklären Martina und Miriam von der TU München wie das Bakterium Clostridium in der Lage ist mit Abgas wertvolle Produkte herzustellen. Im Projekt SynCoClos geht es dabei um einen umweltfreundlichen Ansatz zur Herstellung von langkettigen Alkoholen. Wieder mit zwei unterschiedlichen Stämmen - vergleichbar zu den anderen Projekten.
