    Dave Meluni's career in the sports industry spans over two decades. He began his journey with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management from Ithaca College, where he not only excelled academically but also shined as a captain for the Bombers' baseball team. In 1999, he took part in the prestigious NCAA Leadership Conference, marking the start of an impressive career. He went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Sport Administration from Florida State University, where he served as a Graduate Assistant in the Seminoles' ticket office and later worked as a Marketing Assistant. Professionally, he spent a decade with IMG College, managing a substantial client base valued at over $1.1 million annually. He then transitioned to SIDEARM Sports as Vice President of Sales, where he negotiated significant agreements with institutions like the University of Texas and the Heisman Organization. Before joining the Falk School Sport Management faculty full-time in 2018, he was an adjunct professor for four years. His extensive experience also includes roles as Vice President of Sales and Business Development at 805 Stats and Infinity Sports and Entertainment. In recent years, he has become a leading authority on Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), a field that’s reshaping the landscape of college sports. With his deep expertise in both traditional sports management and the innovative NIL space, our guest brings a wealth of knowledge and insight. He attended both Boston University and Quinnipiac University. He served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at both Syracuse University and BU. His career continued with athletic training positions at Fairleigh Dickinson, Seton Hall, and the University of Wisconsin. In the last few years, he has focused on soccer, holding positions at Minnesota United FC and currently serving as an athletic therapist for Orlando City Soccer Club. He is a member of the Professional Soccer Athletic Trainers' Society and the Soccer Athletic Trainers' Society.     Coordinator of Women's Basketball Officials - Debbie Williamson

    This weeks guest: Debbie Williamson's career spans a rich tapestry of achievements in sports and academics. A standout student-athlete at Louisiana Tech in the early 1980s, she excelled in both basketball and softball, contributing significantly to the Lady Techsters' legacy with four Women’s Basketball Final Four appearances and two national championships, including the inaugural NCAA women’s basketball title in 1982. Transitioning to coaching, Williamson held roles as head women’s volleyball coach at Louisiana Tech, assistant women’s basketball coach at Southeastern Louisiana, and later as assistant basketball coach and head softball coach at Georgia Southern. She also dedicated four seasons to coaching high school JV girls and boys basketball. Beyond coaching, Williamson is a prolific author with numerous publications and research abstracts in sports management, and she contributes to Referee Magazine. She holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Louisiana Tech, complemented by a Doctorate of Education from the University of Houston in 2000. Her officiating career is equally impressive, having served on women’s basketball officiating staffs for various conferences and working three NCAA Division II regional tournaments. She held pivotal roles as the NCAA Women’s Basketball Secretary-Rules Editor (2006-2014) and the NCAA Women’s Basketball National Coordinator of Officiating (2011-2014). Currently, Williamson serves as the Coordinator of Women’s Basketball Officiating for multiple prestigious conferences including the Atlantic Coast Conference, American Athletic Conference, Atlantic 10 Conference, Big East Conference, Big South Conference, Colonial Athletic Association, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, and Ivy League Conference. He graduated from UMass Lowell in 2020 and quickly launched into their career as a Marketing Assistant at Syracuse University from 2021 to 2022. Progressing swiftly, Jake took on the role of Marketing Coordinator at Syracuse from 2022 to 2023. He served as the Assistant Director of Marketing, Fan Engagement & Licensing at Boston College, a position they've held since 2023. In this comprehensive role, Jake oversaw marketing strategies for women's basketball, women's lacrosse, and both men's and women's soccer. His responsibilities included managing daily licensing approvals, coordinating fanfests for football, and supporting spirit programs. Currently he recently was selected for the position of Associate Director of Digital Marketing at Army West Point. Beyond his professional commitments, he is pursuing a master’s degree in Sport Administration at Boston College, further enhancing his expertise in the field.     Physical Education Teacher & Coach- Neil Keenan This weeks guest: Neil Keenan is a 1992 graduate of Davis and Elkins College. He began his teaching career as an education intern at Harlem Park in West Baltimore, where he taught middle school History and English for one year. For the past 30 years, he has been teaching and coaching at St. Paul’s School in Baltimore. Initially, he served as a co-teacher in pre-first grade for three years, and since then, he has been the lower school PE teacher. For the last 12 years, he has also been the lower school PE Coordinator. Neil has coached a variety of sports at St. Paul’s, including middle school, Freshman/Sophomore, JV, and Varsity football, basketball, and lacrosse. Since 2008, he has been a part of the Varsity football staff and was recently named Head Coach. Throughout his tenure at St. Paul’s, Neil has been involved in two Freshman/Sophomore, one JV, and seven Varsity MIAA championship programs. In addition to teaching and coaching, he has mentored numerous young people pursuing careers in athletics.     Senior Principal & Architect for Sasaki's Sports Division- Chris Sgarzi This weeks guest: Chris Sgarzi holds bachelor's and master's degrees in architecture from Tulane University and studied at the Architectural Association in London. He gained recognition for his expertise in programming, planning, and designing sports, recreation, and student life facilities across the Northeast. In 2004, he founded Sgarzi Associates, which was later acquired by the global architectural firm Sasaki in 2011. Upon joining Sasaki, he assumed the role of senior principal, overseeing the sports and recreation division. During his tenure at Sasaki, he has contributed to numerous master plans, including those for Cal Berkeley, University of Texas, and Syracuse, as well as to construction projects such as the Boston College Hoag Pavilion, RPI Houston Fieldhouse Multi-Purpose Arena, and Loyola Maryland Ridley Athletic Complex.
