ADHD + HD Podcast I Human Design for ADHD’ers

著者: Ashley Briana Eve Human Design + ADHD Expert
  • サマリー

  • The ADHD + HD podcast is a clear, concise, REAL podcast for high performing women with ADHD. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, but more importantly you will be seen, maybe for the first time in your life (or that’s my goal!). Host Ashley Briana Eve is an ADHD expert who has been supporting ADHDers both in the counselling field & in the coaching field. Ashley has worked with children, youth, & adults in a range of environments from women’s shelters, group homes, & even in an Equine Assisted Therapy program, run in conjunction with the Canadian Mental Association, in helping adults return to the workforce after time away due to mental health. Her focus in University was on risk vs resilience, deeply interested in what makes people succeed regardless of external (or internal) factors. Join Ashley to learn about how ADHD impacts every area of your life, how some patterns that you beat yourself up over or which create chaos in your life were never YOU but your brain, and how you can begin to overcome your symptoms by FIRST accepting who you are. Ashley does this through the lens of Human Design, Gene Keys, & Positive Psychology believing that our best bet for success lies in building on who you already are, not trying to become someone you’re not (flaws & all). Whether you are officially diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or just curious you are welcome here. Disclaimer: While Ashley was a counsellor working in the mental health field she now works strictly within a coaching capacity. This podcast is not meant to replace medical advice, medication, and working with health care professionals. • (10) 4 Phases of the Human Design/ Gene Keys Journey: From Validation to Self-Trust
    2024/10/16

In this video, we explore the 4 phases I find that we move through once discovering Human Design/ Gene Keys, from feeling deeply validated to becoming fully self-sourced. If you’ve just discovered Human Design, you’ve likely experienced that wave of relief—finally feeling seen and understood.

But as you go deeper, you may realize that the validation was tied to your Not-Self, leading to a life based on shadow patterns.

This is where the overthinking begins. Am I following my inner authority, or is it just my mind? Am I being impulsive, or am I truly in alignment?

In this video, I’ll walk you through each of these phases and explain how my Heart of the Healer program helps you move from overthinking and second-guessing to becoming fully grounded, self-sourced, and aligned with your true purpose.

If you’re ready to stop the mental tug-of-war and start living as your authentic self, this is the video for you!

✨ Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more insights on Human Design, personal growth, and becoming the highest version of yourself!

  • (15) ADHD + HD: Why Women Are Under-diagnosed and How the Medical Approaches & Spiritual Approaches to Treatment are Failing Us
    2024/10/14
In this episode, we dive deep into why so many high-performing women with ADHD go underdiagnosed for years—and why the common approaches to managing ADHD often fall short. If you’ve ever felt like you’ve tried everything—whether it’s the medical route with medication and therapy, or the spiritual route with Human Design and energy work—only to still feel stuck, this episode is for you. We’ll explore: •Why women are so often missed in the ADHD diagnosis process and how many of us develop coping strategies that eventually break down. •Why relying solely on the medical model doesn’t address the whole picture, and how it overlooks the deeper energetic and spiritual needs we have as women. •How swinging all the way to the spiritual approach can leave you feeling more burned out, impulsive, and out of alignment than before. •And most importantly, how the both/and approach—combining brain-based strategies with Human Design and Gene Keys—can finally help you find the clarity and balance you’ve been searching for. Join me as I unpack how you can stop choosing between extremes and instead embrace a holistic approach to thrive with ADHD. 👉 Ready for a deeper dive? Sign up for my ADHD + Human Design Foundations Workshop on October 26th & 27th, where we’ll blend practical tools and spiritual insights to help you break free from burnout and live in alignment. • (14) ADHD + HD: Can Medication for ADHD Help You Better "Live Your Design" & Follow Strategy/ Authority?
    2024/10/10
In this episode, I share my personal journey with ADHD medication and how it impacted my ability to connect with my Inner Authority in Human Design. For years, I thought my struggles were tied to the not-self, but it turned out my medication was off, which was affecting how I showed up in the world. We’ll explore: •The connection between ADHD medication and aligning with your Inner Authority in Human Design •How proper medication can help you operate more effectively and in alignment with your design •My experience resisting medication, developing coping strategies, and eventually realizing medication was the best decision for me Please note: I’m not a doctor, and this episode is not medical advice. Always consult your doctor regarding ADHD medication. I’m not pro or against medication—this episode is simply my story and how medication helped me manage ADHD when my coping mechanisms were no longer enough.
