People who are fully alive and free in the Kingdom of God have three characteristics: they're God-taught, God-moved, God-inspired. Today, we're focusing on being taught by God which means hearing from God, and balancing our systems with keeping space open for Him to interrupt us.

Question:

Think back over the last month or so, have you been living a full and free life or have you been caught up in the day to day without really thinking about God?

Prayer:

Lord, we want everything that you have to offer. And we know how easy it is to just get caught up in the day to day and to focus on things that might be good but aren’t actually what you have for us. So Lord lift us out of our apathy and sleepiness, speak to us even now, that we would know our real identity in you, that we would know what kind of full life you have for us, and that we would be able to step into that freedom, following you with all we have because that’s the only appropriate response to your goodness and faithfulness. We love you Jesus, would you speak to us. In your precious name Jesus amen.
