Welcome to SCALING IMPACT, where we interview social innovators: people who make it their life’s mission to work for the betterment of others. They are the changemakers, the fearless, the compassionate, and the large-hearted individuals who also know how to scale up.
In this episode, we speak with Anshu Gupta, founder of Goonj, a non-governmental organization which undertakes disaster relief, humanitarian aid, and community development across India. They believe in re-positioning cloth and other underutilized material, not for charity, but for dignity of work. Through our conversation today, we look forward to learning about on-ground challenges that steered impactful actions.
Created by Babson College MBA student Arushi Jain, this initiative is supported by Lewis Institute for Social Innovation's Inventureship program, which helps students invent their own social innovation projects using Entrepreneurial Thought & Action® to accelerate social and economic impact.
