On this episode, Amanda recaps the infamous double murders of Liberty German, 14 and Abigail Williams, 13 on February 13, 2017 in the small town of Delphi, Indiana.

After the recap of the case, Amanda discusses the interesting yet destructive role that social media and you tube played on the perception of Richard Allen's guilty verdict and why misinformation ran rampant in this case in particular. The case concluded with the guilty verdict in November of 2024 and the case will finally be unsealed after Allen's sentencing on 12/20/24

On labor day weekend of 2022, an investigative journalist named Jeff German for the Las Vegas review journal was found stabbed to death next to his home. German had suffered 7 stab wounds after succumbing to a malicious attack. Given the dangerous nature of Jeff's job, police immediately suspected a connection between the stories Jeff reported on, and his vicious murder. It didn't take long for the name Robert Telles to come to the forefront of the suspect list.

Telles, a public elected official was the subject of German's latest investigative series. After several of Telles' employees accused him of abuse, harassment, bullying and discrimination among other allegations, Telles alleged actions were cast into the limelight via Jeff German's investigation and interviews with Telles' subordinates. Eventually, the reporting on Telles actions led to him losing the subsequent election, and ultimately a complete fall from grace.
