 Bible News Prophecy The Bible News Prophecy program broadcasts news and information in the light of the Bible and its prophecies. This includes proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ and the gospel of the coming Kingdom of God to the world as a witness (Matthew 24:14), teaching all things that Jesus commanded (Matthew 28:19-20), providing prophetic warnings of God’s impending judgments, contending for the faith once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 3), assisting in the calling of the full number of those to be reached before Jesus returns (Romans 11:25-26), explaining mysteries of God's merciful (James 2:13) and loving plan (e.g. Romans 16:25-27), helping people better understand the Bible (Acts 8:30-31, Romans 10:14-15), explaining God’s loving plan of salvation (Psalm 68:30, John 3:16-17, Luke 3:6, Romans 11), encouraging people to live the way of Philadelphian (Hebrews 13:1) and agape love (1 Corinthians 13), and calling for personal (Acts 2:38) and national repentance (2 Chronicles 7:13-15). The Bible News Prophecy program teaches the fact of God's existence, the fact of Jesus being Savior, and the certainty of biblical truths. The program discusses what the future holds for humanity in the light of Bible prophecy. The Bible News Prophecy program analyzes news and world events by the light of the word of God and also explains matters that will happen in the future, based on Bible prophecy. The Bible News Prophecy program is sponsored by the Continuing Church of God. What does it take to be truly successful? Is it just luck? Is true success just the “luck of the draw”? Could it be that true success is just a series of random events that could happen to anyone? Or is true success the result of planning, education, drive and determination?     Bible News Prophecy with Dr Bob Thiel Earthquakes And Super Volcanos Brought to you by the Continuing Church of God “Bringing you news and analysis of world events in light of Bible prophecy.” This is a mandate of the Continuing Church of God. Is a black swan just another pretty bird? Well, yes, but a black swan event has a totally different meaning. A black swan event is described by Britannica.com as: A black swan event is an unexpected and highly impactful event. It is characterized by its extreme rarity, severe consequences, and the tendency for people to rationalize it only in hindsight. Would a massive earthquake or the eruption of a super volcano qualify as a black swan event? The answer is yes. One black swan event that poses a risk right now is the massive super volcanos long overdue to erupt and another black swan event is the tectonic plates that are generating incredible pressure as they grind against each other and will result in massive earthquakes. The United States has both the massive Yellowstone super volcano and the San Andreas Fault as well as Ring of Fire. Could a black swan event jeopardize the very existence of the United States? Is it possible one or more events could set the United States up for an invasion from the King of the North? Does the Bible foretell of an earthquake so large and powerful that mountains are leveled and the islands fled away? The beginning of these events is referred to as “The Beginning of Sorrows” and will lead up to the “Great Tribulation”. These are some of the many signs Jesus gave us to help prepare us for His return. Dr. Thiel gives us understanding of some of the signs to watch for as he goes into detail on these events and shines the light of Bible Prophecy on helping the Christian understand the times we are in and prepare for Christ’s return.
