Grab yourself a drink, a snack and let’s get comfy to hear about the movies we will have on our screen whether that’s a cinematic release, streaming services or straight to DVD/Blu-ray let me take you on a dark mystery tour of where we discuss the movies coming to out this month and lets discuss their topics and will this be the start of a new cycle in horror or will this be the calm before the storm testing the waters, we will see .. Lets discuss and breakdown these movies and answer questions about the Gore Levels we have been seeing in horror and whether it is greed and not need

Well, what are we covering today?

Well horror as any genre goes through cycles of what is going to be out in front of the popularity of the genre..

We have noticed and have spoken about this topic plenty in this podcast about which topic with the genre will be the next cycle..

Hitting the cycle at the exact time is a tricky concept especially when the scales are tipping and no one seems to know what exactly will happen and how the cycle will change it could be 1 movie or many movies that decided the change in the tide, but if you don’t tip the scale in your favour there is a catastrophic event in your path that you cannot turn your back on and most likely will become the destruction of your project/s now and in the future..

No one wants to be the killer of the genre cycle before it’s not finished its course yet some movies don’t get the appreciation of their time in the spotlight til years later when the cycle has finished and it is evolving into something new is striking while the iron is hot and hitting the audience when they are ready for it..

The questions I ask of you audience is:
•Have we had enough Animal Horror?
•Body Horror
•Supernatural beings or entities
•Religious Horror
•True crime real life Horror
•Based on true events (partial truth)

What is your favourite topic and why does it keep you entertained and coming back for more?

So what should we expect from now til end of August in Horror and are we excited about what is being released?

Is the topic of gore saturated and do we need something else?
