BioArt: Bio Art is an interdisciplinary field that merges biology, genetics, biotechnology, and art. It encompasses artworks that utilize living organisms, tissues, or cells as part of their creation process. Bio artists often collaborate with scientists and researchers to explore ethical, social, and philosophical implications of biotechnology and its applications in artistic expression.

Neuroaesthetics: "Neuroaesthetics is the study of how our brain and biology change [from exposure to] the arts," Magsamen says, and she expands the definition to include not just the human-made but nature as well. "I always say nature is the mother of all arts."
