このコンテンツについて
She planned a bombing that shocked the world.
She vanished with her child and never looked back.
Two women. Two lives on the run. One episode.
In this Fugitive Files double feature, we examine the case of Ahlam Ahmad al-Tamimi, a Jordanian woman who helped mastermind the deadly 2001 Sbarro pizzeria bombing in Jerusalem that killed 15 people, including two Americans. After serving time in Israel and being released in a prisoner exchange, al-Tamimi became a media figure—and remains on the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists list.
Then, we cross continents to the story of María Belén Francesconi, an Argentine woman wanted for international parental abduction. Authorities say she fled the country in violation of a custody agreement, taking her young son and disappearing into a global maze of aliases, flights, and unanswered questions.
One is charged with conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction against American nationals.
The other faces charges of international parental kidnapping.
Both are fugitives. Both are still out there.
This is Fugitive Files. Let’s get into it.
