  • Why Govern When You Can Grift? | 7/16/25
    2025/07/16
What we are seeing now with the crack-up between Trump and the online Right is populism coming full circle. On today’s free-for-all roundup of news, I show how when you have no soul, principles, and forward-looking agenda, you just land in the same place. We are worse off in terms of corporatism in the GOP than we were even 10 years ago. We have a lost decade in primaries. The online crowd might be upset with Trump over Epstein, but they will never channel that dissent into anything useful. There is no long-term plan to build enduring victories on a single issue. Also, I go through the harms of AI data centers and how the entire premise is built on a misunderstanding of the utility of artificial intelligence. Learn more about your ad choices. • The Danger & Unfairness of Foreign Truck Drivers Dominating the Roads | 7/15/25
    2025/07/15
We begin by noting how allowing states to enforce immigration laws is the most important proposition to stake out our future. This will allow us to ensure that there are still portions of America that remain American. Sadly, the focus from Congress and the White House this week is on meme coins and AI data centers. Next, we’re joined by Shannon Everrett, founder of American Truckers United, who has created a grassroots movement to warn about the flood of foreign truck drivers taking over the industry. This is both a labor and safety concern. They are driving down wages and supplanting the American trucker, but at the same time, many are not proficient in English and did not undergo the proper training. Shannon is pushing legislation to bar the recognition of non-domiciled commercial driver’s licenses for noncitizens and certainly the recognition of truck drivers who are here illegally or on tourist visas. • Vicious Cycle of Uniparty Failure Theater Will Lead to Communism vs. Fascism | 7/14/25
    2025/07/14
Tucker and his ilk have found a way to monetize many of our grievances while ensuring we never solve them. The same people who foisted Trump upon us for 10 years without building a parallel movement on any other issue are now complaining that he is betraying us, but they are offering no path forward. Today, I explain why grievance-mongering without actually trying to solve the problem just creates a false dichotomy between communism and fascism. Meanwhile, with social media algorithms, these people are able to earn millions off the monetization of grievance, which disincentivizes them to actually follow through on their stated beliefs when it matters. From COVID and immigration to Ukraine, foreign influence, crime, and marijuana, I demonstrate how Tucker never focuses on his stated beliefs when they would actually matter. • The Growing Armed Communist Insurrection Must Be Deterred Now | 7/11/25
    2025/07/11
You might be observing the attacks on ICE agents and think that this is part of the culture of rioting. But in reality, Antifa and similar “anti-fascist” actors have built a culture of militia, guns, and training that was thought to be endemic to the right, except they are using it as street-level muscle to enforce their anti-government insurgency and their preferred policy outcomes. That is the clarion warning of our guest today, Kyle Shideler, a homeland security and counterterrorism expert. Kyle explains how the tactics and issues of this insurgency are multifaceted, but their goal is to create enough violence to deter policies they don’t like. Sadly, the administration has not done enough to investigate, prosecute, and deter these terrorists. Moreover, our criminal justice system is the embodiment of anarcho-tyranny, whereby it is not strong enough to deal with the anarchy but is strong enough to deter or punish our defense against it or even our political and legal methods of countering it. • No, We Have Not Solved the Cost-of-Living Crisis | 7/10/25
    2025/07/10
We begin today with a presentation on all the conservative priorities that are being ignored or violated. Chief among them is that Trump continues to make terrible endorsements, now endorsing all the RINOs in the Texas legislature. Also, the courts continue to be a problem, and absent using must-pass legislation to kick the courts out of immigration enforcement, mass deportations are dead. Then there is the economy. We’re joined today by E.J. Antoni, chief economist for the Heritage Foundation, who demonstrates how we have not solved the cost-of-living crisis because it is caused by a degree of debt and asset bubbles that have not been addressed. He warns that simply lowering the federal funds rate will not solve the problem and will likely backfire. We also discuss the folly of populism, how it winds up continuing those same policies that lead to the disparity between income levels and the burden of inflation, and how free-market conservatism is the only viable solution. • Status Quo Republicans Are Not an Option | 7/9/25
    2025/07/09
By now, the bloom is beginning to come off the GOP trifecta’s rose, as a lot of people realize that many of the campaign promises will not be fulfilled. Logic would dictate that we focus on primaries, particularly gubernatorial primaries. Yet the same people who complain about the status quo — yet also bemoan the creation of a new party — refuse to get involved in primaries. To that end, we continue our "meet the candidates" series. This time we’re joined by Iowa state Rep. Eddie Andrews (R), who is running for governor. He discusses his leadership role in fighting for property rights against carbon capture pipelines. He promises, as governor, to end all subsidies and favored treatment for green energy. As part of his fight for landowners, he is committed to abolishing property taxes. As for personal autonomy, Andrews has been leading on medical freedom. Andrews is an intriguing candidate because he is one of the most conservative members of the legislature but represents a Democrat district, demonstrating a strong appeal as a candidate. • We’re Giving the Courts More Power than King George | 7/8/25
    2025/07/08
We begin by discussing the subversive way MAGA Inc. talks about Trump’s amnesty as if it’s not already being implemented and as if it’s not coming from him. Relatedly, they monetize content feigning outrage over court decisions yet continue to perpetuate the myth that courts nonetheless rule over the other branches. Today, I show how the injunction against defunding Planned Parenthood offers the clearest example of the moral hazard of the fallacy we call judicial supremacism. We are told that there is nothing a court cannot order, mandate, veto, or even fund and that it is self-executing on the other branches, something that does not happen the other way around against the judiciary. I prove once and for all why this is not the system we adopted and how Trump, by giving effect to these rulings, is creating a permanent structure of a level of judicial oligarchy not enjoyed by King George. • Reactionary Retardation and Grift Prevent the Right from Succeeding | 7/7/25
    2025/07/07
Absent an affirmative, godly political movement, we are headed down a dark path. Today, I explain how the hyper-conspiratorial online Right breaks the brains of people and, mixed with the grift motive, is acculturating a new generation into reactionary desperation. I tie together the theories behind Epstein and the Trump assassination attempt and how these same people who simped for Trump are now confronted with their own man going to the other end of the spectrum on some of their theories. Meanwhile, at the policy level, we continue suffering so many left-wing policies, often with the support of Trump, but there is no movement or strategy to counter it. This is creating a degenerative spiral in which the more the failure theater perpetuates leftist policy, economic, and cultural successes, the more desperate and conspiratorial the right becomes. I shudder to think we are headed for a “European Right” dynamic in which we get the governance of Mitch McConnell with the subculture of neo-Nazis. Learn more about your ad choices.
