Ira Deutchman has been making, marketing and distributing films since 1975, having worked on over 150 films including some of the most successful independent films of all time. He was one of the founders of Cinecom and later created Fine Line Features—two companies that were created from scratch and, in their respective times, helped define the independent film business. He was also a co-founder of Emerging Pictures, the first digital projection network in the United States and a pioneer in delivering live cultural events into movie theaters. His latest film 'SEARCHING FOR MR RUGOFF' premiers as an official selection of the DOC NYC 2019 film festival, Friday November 8 at 7pm at the IFC Center.

Christine Vachon  produced Todd Haynes' first feature, Poison, which was awarded the Grand Jury Prize at the 1991 Sundance Film Festival. Since then, she has gone on to produce many acclaimed American independent films, including Far from Heaven (nominated for four Academy Awards), Boys Don't Cry (Academy Award winner), One Hour Photo, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Happiness, Velvet Goldmine, SAFE, I Shot Andy Warhol, Go Fish, Swoon, I'm Not There, Gigantic, Cracks. and Cairo Time. Her latest and upcoming projects include a short film collaboration with ACE Hotel and online film content producers Massify entitled "Lulu at the Ace Hotel" as well as a five-part HBO mini-series adaptation of James M. Cain's 1941 novel, Mildred Pierce.

Steven Robert Guttenberg is an American actor, author, businessman, producer, and director. He made his acting debut in The Boys From Brazil with Laurence Olivier and Gregory Peck. From that recognition, he attracted a variety of leading roles including the film classic Diner(1983), which was chosen by Vanity Fair as the Best Film of the Last Thirty Years, and the broad comedy, Police Academy(1984) which continues to be one of the highest earning film franchises ever. in 1985 Guttenberg's fame increased with Cocoon, a life affirming film of the highest order. The science fiction genre continued with Short Circuit(1986), John Badham's ground breaking artificial intelligence film. Steve worked opposite Isabelle Hupert in Curtis Hansen's Bedroom Window(1986), the heralded Hitchcockian thriller, In 1987, Disney released Three Men and a Baby, Leonard Nimoys popular movie about bachelors raising a child. The film went on to announce itself as the number one grossing film of the year ,and provided a successful sequel.

Bob Berney is an American producer who has a track record for success with his associated films grossing over $1 billion in U.S. Box Office revenue since 2000. A creative with an eye for selecting unconventional films with the potential to appeal to greater audiences, he has proven to be a wise producer, acquisitioner, marketer and distributor. While working with IFC Films, he marketed “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” and “Y Tu Mamá También.” As a distribution consultant, he was instrumental in the release of Christopher Nolan’s “Memento.” Until this summer he acted as head of theatrical distribution and marketing for Amazon Studios, releasing “The Big Sick,” “Cold War,” Mindy Kaling’s “Late Night” and the first streamer film nominated for best picture: “Manchester by the Sea.”

Getting his start during the industry’s 1990s boom, independent film producer Mike S. Ryan began as a location manager for Ang Lee’s The Ice Storm and Todd Haynes Far From Heaven. Nominated for a“Producer of the Year” Independent Spirit award and donned the title, “10 Producers to Watch” in 2007 by Variety, Ryan has gone on to produce a body of award-winning work. His 2005 Cannes premier Junebug sent star Amy Adams to the Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actress and Free in Deed took home the Best Film prize at the Venice Film Festival. Hayne’s Palindromes and Life During War, Kelly Reichdardt’s Old Joy and Meek’s Cutoff starring Michelle Williams are just a selection of titles Ryan has produced. Today, he is the president of Greyshack Films production company that is self proclaimed as: “committed to creative, thought-provoking, energetic new cinema designed within a low-budget model.”

Jeff Dow is the original DUDE from the BIG LEBOWSKI . He’s an American film producer and political activist best known as a member of the “ Seattle Seven” who went to jail following a violent protest against the war in Vietnam. He later moved to Los Angeles and became an independent movie producer and promoter. After meeting the Coen Brothers, he became the basis for one of their most popular characters, Jeffrey "The Dude" Lebowski from The Big Lebowski.
