  • THE WRONGFUL CONVICTION OF THOMAS JAMES (PATREON UNLOCKED)
    2025/05/28

This week, we are unlocking a bonus episode from our Patreon page. Originally available since last year for patrons only, it's now available free for everyone. We will be back with our season finale episode next week!

What’s in a name? For Thomas James, his name was his downfall. A combination of bad luck, bad police work, and a bad reputation landed Thomas in jail for over 30 years for the murder of Francis McKinnon. What seemed like an open and shut case proved to be a tragic miscarriage of justice, punishing an innocent man and letting a guilty one run free.

  • THE UNSOLVED DYLAN EHLER CASE
    2025/05/21

On May 6, 2020 in the small town of Truro, Nova Scotia, a normal spring afternoon turned into a nightmare when three-year-old Dylan Ehler vanished without a trace. One moment, he was playing in his grandmother’s backyard — the next, he was gone. Within minutes, a frantic search began, and by the end of the day, only two small rubber boots were found near a fast-moving brook.

In this episode, we take a closer look at the disappearance of Dylan Ehler — a case that has haunted his family and baffled investigators for five years. We walk through the timeline of that day, examine the search efforts, and explore the controversial theories that have emerged: Was Dylan swept away by the current, or could foul play have been involved?

We also unpack the ripple effects this tragedy had on the Ehler family, from their battle with online harassment to their push for legislative change with "Dylan’s Law." Join us as we piece together the heartbreaking story of a little boy who vanished in seconds — and a family still searching for answers.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Truro Police Service at 902-895-5351.

    2025/05/14

On May 2 2025, siblings Lily, aged 6, and Jack, aged 4, disappeared from their home in rural Nova Scotia, leaving behind few clues and countless questions. The peaceful community of Lansdowne Station was shaken as search crews scoured the surrounding forest, but days later, the children remain missing.

In this episode, we examine the facts of the case so far, the growing concerns from the public and the questions surrounding how two young children could vanish without a trace. As the investigation shifts direction, one thing is certain: the search for Jack and Lily is far from over.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Pictou County District RCMP at 902-485-4333.
