A great discussion with someone who is like family along with being a former student and current mentee, Miss Sarah. She gave me five points that we discussed:

1. School for this generation is DIFFERENT.

2. There are other routes other than college and the military.

3. Yelling doesn't resolve issues.

4. Strict parenting doesn't work.

5. Saying how you feel doesn't mean you are being disrespectful.

Highly encourage you watch with your preteens and teens in your life and engage in a conversation. I also believe anyone who works with preteens and teens should watch this video.
