The course director of a general education course wears many hats: innovator, mentor, trainer, troubleshooter, and promoter, just to name a few. Curriculum revision is inevitable, especially in an age of increased technological presence. Is it possible, however, for curricular refinement to be used as a vehicle to help junior faculty develop autonomy? Tonight's episode provides an example of how best practices in teaching can be cultivated, as opposed to being stipulated.
