Welcome to Daily Devotion with Pastor Balla for July 18, 2025. Today’s meditation is titled “You Are Not a God Who Delights in Wickedness” based on Psalm 5:4–6. In these powerful verses, David confesses the holiness of God — a God who takes no pleasure in wickedness, deceit, or bloodshed. Unlike the world, which often tolerates or excuses sin, the Lord is pure, righteous, and just.
We reflect on how pride, lies, and violence stand condemned before His throne — not as distant sins of others, but as realities that call each of us to repentance. Yet this sobering truth is not without hope. In Christ Jesus, God has dealt fully with sin, offering forgiveness and righteousness to all who believe.
