    Edit: My paternal grandmother was held in three concentrations camps. She was transferred from the Ghetto in Lodz to Auschwitz, and then to Bergen-Belsen, and finally rescued from Salzwedel.

    Over this past month I struggled with a broken microphone and other issues that delayed my ability to publish new episodes. In this episode, I tell stories about my vehicle, how I moved giant logs by hand, the first time I brought my children to this land, helping and asking for help, redwood trees and their two different pine cones, living in a canvas tent, Henry David Thoreau’s cabin, PG&E, and some very special music by Tami Gosnell.
