Jane launched and ran the charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) who you will be familiar with if you're a long term listener of the podcast, and has come through a huge amount of awesome activism work on her journey. Working with STAMMA has proved to be a great chance to continue along similar lines, in smoothing out some of the rough edges of the world for those who stammer. For those who don't, these rough edges might never appear, but with just a slight nudge in the direction of empathy, a lot of the potential obstacles out there rapidly reveal themselves. A bit of a formal way of introducing these two wonderful people but they really are two absolute treasures of cinematic and televisual goodness. Alice has been delivering incredible work after incredible work on the big and small screen for years now, and her new film 'Timestalker' is out and about and ready for your attention - you will know Alice from all sorts, including Garth Merenghi's Dark Place, Prevenge and Sightseers among others. She's joined by pal and co-star of Timestalker Nick Frost in this chat, who you also know from years of excellent output including Spaced, Shaun of The Dead and Hot Fuzz to name a few. So it's a real treat that Pip gets to chat to Harry, and probably a weird moment for Harry too being a long-term listener...! It's a superb converstion, as they get into so much about acting and process, all things in front of and behind the curtain, but also there's so much to be gained from hearing Harry's perspective on things here. Jamali is always fantastic whatever you see or him on, and here is a really cool catch up with a bunch of what has happened lately as well as what is to come. The focus for the most part though is the new series he's been making called 'Follow The Leader' - you'll surely have caught his previous series 'Hate Thy Neighbour', and this is not like a follow on from that or anything but if you know Jamali's steez by now you'll definitely get along famously with this. Your topics to enjoy this episode include a crazy Rotterdam adventure gone wrong, shady promoters (see Tribe Called Quest's rule 4080), the new series and the mental conflicts to go through with the content, meeting the main people of each episode in real life, the Louis Theroux machine, and how his heart is comedy.
