Rob Giersch (giersched@bellsouth.net) is a retired engineer who has always had a creative itch and loved the outdoors. He's channeled those passions into whitewater photography and the Southeastern Paddling Community, volunteering at numerous ladies events (that's how we met)! That passion has led to lifelong friendships, a greater perspective on life, and a few job opportunities. His camera forces him (the introvert) to step out of his comfort zone to engage with the world, and every time he does he's rewarded with experiences he never could have imagined.

Becca Ploener is an Adventure Life Coach and Whitewater Kayak Instructor based out of Asheville, NC. She works with folks who are feeling burntout, tired, and like they have NO TIME for themselves. Combining her knowledge from her background in psychology, experiential and inquiry based learning, wilderness medicine, women's health, and whitewater kayaking she helps people to take charge of their life again so they can have fun regularly and level up their outdoor sport.
