 "Oh Teddy, Teddy..." was a frequent chant echoing around White Hart Lane over the years as our former number 10 bagged another one of his 124 goals across his 277 appearances in Lilywhite. As you may have guessed, the latest guest to join Off The Shelf is Spurs legend Teddy Sheringham! Having played for Spurs as a schoolboy at 14 years old, the budding footballer had to carve out a path elsewhere with spells at Millwall and Nottingham Forest before joining us in the inaugural Premier League season in 1992/93. Opening his account on his home debut in a 2-0 win over Sheffield United under the lights at the Lane - our first win in the division - the mercurial talent and clinical finisher went on to be a hero to a generation of fans over his two spells with the Club and ended his career with an impressive 146 Premier League goals.
