EPISODE 35: PART 2

On tonight's episode we are hanging with Jordan. She shares about being part of the first class at The Ramp College, and the things she experienced in her first and only year in the program. She discusses the ugly side on "ministry" where the leaders demand you serve Jesus by serving them, all the rules and regulations the students were to up hold all while staff wasn't living by example with the rules they set in place.

In speaking with Jordan, and others from this college, it seems that this "ministry" is more cult than ministry. Some of the things she shared on camera and things she wasn't comfortable sharing off camera, leads me to believe this "ministry" is anything but what Jesus intended his bride to be.

You may be asking what a cult is? Well here's what google defines as a cult, and The Ramp has all the makings:

A Cult isa system or group of people who practice excessive devotion to a figure, object, or belief system, typically following a charismatic leader.

Three main characteristics of a cult are:

Charismatic leader

Cults are led by a charismatic leader who is considered a genius, prophet, or messiah.

Isolation

Cult members are isolated from family and friends,

and are discouraged from questioning the cult's doctrine.

Control

Cult leaders have extreme control over members' lives,

including what they eat, wear, and who they can have relationships with.

It is up to you to decide for yourself if you agree with Jordan and others like her or if you want to continue to put your money, time and effort in these "ministries" that take the bible and make it fit their narrative. Out stance is this ministry and ministries like these are misrepresenting the bible & Jesus and what he came here to do,

Jesus in no way cane to earth to have us serve anyone but God the father. He never told us to bow to man or that life would be full of health & wealth & prosperity. In fact he said "we would have troubles in this life, but to believe in him because he's overcame the world. He said we would be persecuted, but we have peace in him.
