    Mikki Kendall discusses misogyny and its impact on Black women. Weaving together current day events and her own experiences as a black woman and activist, Ms. Kendall sounds the alarm on the current and future status of women in American society and the particular concerns for Black and brown women.

    Jerri L. Bland, Ed.D. is the CEO of Digital Futures, Inc. and co-founder and host of Educated Brown Girls. Jerri has a bachelor's degree from the University of New Orleans, a Master of Public Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a doctorate in higher education administration from The George Washington University. Jerri is a freelance information technology program manager and an adjunct faculty member at the UNC-CH School of Government. Jerri is a project management professional (PMP) and is a Six Sigma Green Belt. Jerri enjoys ringing handbells and rowing in her free time and serves as a member of the International Advisory Board for Carolina Performing Arts.
