Ep. 77 Inspirational Talks with Special Guest Dr. Gail James

  • サマリー

  • Dr. Gail James was born and raised in St. Thomas, US Virgin Island. From the age of 7 to 11 years old, I was molested by my brothers. This was the beginning of my turmoil, and devastation, filled with hurt, pain, anger, and rejection. I was born to a mother who had 12 children; she married my father who had 15 children himself. I have personal experience growing up in a large toxic family, living with my siblingswas not easy at all. I was known as the black sheep of the family because it was me who told the familysecret, and for that reason, I was tormented, disowned, and rejected by my mother, and taken from my home. Ended up being on the street alone and in an abusive relationship that could have cost my child and mylife. I deconstructed the myth of withstanding abuse while hoping things would change.  Connect www.drgailkjames.comInstagram:https://www.instagram.com/drgailjames1/• Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/CoachGJames• LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/in/dr-gail-james87627487/ --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/inspirationaltalks/support
