Dr. Sandra Siegal is a community psychologist, registered nurse, LCPC, professor and program coordinator at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has been a leading force in Chicago’s community mental healthcare for over three decades, serving as a director of a community mental health center in Chicago for over ten years, a clinical director of a long-term care facility for individuals with severe mental illness, and an expert mitigator on death penalty cases for the Cook County Public Defender’s office, as well as a clinician and supervisor at the Cook County Jail Women’s Justice Program. She has been certified in CBT by Dr. Aaron Beck himself and certified in REBT by a trainee of Albert Ellis.
