DEVOTION
Based on Philippians 3
Paul’s words remind us that spiritual growth is a journey, not a destination. He doesn’t claim to have “arrived,” but commits to pressing forward with focus and purpose. Forgetting what’s behind doesn’t mean ignoring the past—it means refusing to be defined by it. Whether it’s past mistakes or past victories, Paul calls us to shift our gaze forward.
God has a high calling for each of us, and it’s found in perseveringly pursuing Jesus. Don’t let regret or complacency keep you stuck. Fix your eyes on the prize—Christ Himself—and run your race with passion.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are my prize and my purpose. I worship You for calling me upward and walking with me in every step.
CONFESSION: I admit I’ve often allowed my past—my failures or even successes- to hold me back from what you have ahead.
THANKSGIVING: Thank you for giving me a new focus and fresh grace each day. Thank you, I can let go and press forward.
SUPPLICATION: Father, help me release yesterday’s weight and pursue Your calling today. Give me focus where I’ve been distracted, courage where I’ve felt discouraged, and endurance when the path feels long. May I run this race with my eyes fixed on Jesus, trusting that You’ll complete the good work You’ve started in me.
PRAYER

Dear Lord Jesus, My future is in You. My past failures and mistakes have been buried in the grave, and I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. However, Lord, the memories of my past can keep me paralyzed. Help me to forget what is behind me and press forward toward Your plan for my life. I want to lay hold of the wonderful works You’ve predestined for me. I no longer want to be bound by the past. Instead, I want to strive forward with passion. Help me and empower me, Lord Jesus. In Your precious name, I pray, Amen. 🙏🏾
