April 24th, 2025, something special happened inside of BC Place. Count me as someone who is jealous for not being in Vancouver to witness this historic night. So many records on the night, broken. History books were tossed out and rewritten. The Whitecaps recorded their highest attendance of the MLS Era, Brian White climbed their all-timer goalscorer charts to 4th with 65 goals across all competitions & last but not least, Messi has lost to his first-ever Canadian Club. It was truly a perfect night for the Whitecaps, from the fans in the stands to the players on the pitch, and staff on the touchline it was perfect. 2 Goals and NO away goals conceded which is a huge advantage to take into the second leg. It was massive. It was iconic. So let's talk about the Whitecaps' historic start to their season after such a historic night...
