What does it mean to be a witness?

In our modern thinking, we often imagine a person—a preacher, a prophet, or a martyr. But in the Old Testament, God used more than people to bear witness. He used stones, songs, altars, laws, and even nations to testify of His covenant, His character, and His faithfulness.

It revealed the heartbeat of the early Church: radical, uncompromising devotion to Christ, no matter the cost.
