Jannik Sinner was comfortable enough over Novak Djokovic with a clinical straight-sets victory (6-4, 7-5, 7-6), ending the Djokovic bid for a 25th Grand Slam title. With this win, Sinner reaches his first Roland Garros final, where he will face Carlos Alcaraz in a highly anticipated clash of the world’s top two ranked players. Alcaraz came through thanks to a retirement from Lorenzo Musetti earlier in the day; a disappointing end to a fantastic clay season for the young Italian. Which the lead the gang to wonder should he have retired or just completed the match?

Meanwhile, Aryna Sabalenka ended Iga Swiatek’s reign in Paris with a stunning three-set upset, capped by a dominant 6-0 third set. Swiatek, the four-time Roland Garros champion, couldn’t match Sabalenka’s relentless aggression as the Belarusian powered her way into the final. Coco Gauff also ended French wildcard Lois Boisson’s Cinderella story with a commanding straight-sets win. Gauff's precision and power proved too much for the hometown favourite, and Coco will bid to win her second slam against the World No.1 on Saturday!
