July 24th 1989. Rescue helicopters scanned the rugged terrain of Mount Asahidake in Japan’s Daisetsuzan National Park, searching for two missing hikers. June 21st 2020. 14-year old Noah Donohoe set out on his bike to meet up with some friends. He never returned home and was quickly reported missing. He was found dead six days later.
