I have my friend Laura on the podcast. Growing up in LA and North County San Diego she never had a problem addiction until she was prescribed painkillers which led to a 2 year heroin addiction. Getting put on methadone to wean off the street drugs she talked about her struggles of quitting mat treatment after 8 years. I have my friend Sabina on podcast. Growing up in upstate New York as first generation in a family from Moldova. She would find a passion for martial arts and MMA. It was after she was 18 when she started to use substances as "tools". Later would become a deep addiction to cocaine.
