Through Paul’s example, we’re reminded that our ministry is grounded in God’s mercy, sustained in times of trouble, and empowered by the light of the gospel. 2025/08/19

From the series "Unity In The Body: A Study of Ephesians"

In this message from Ephesians 2:1–7, Pastor Bob challenges us to see ourselves as “first responders” for the Kingdom of God—called to rescue people who are spiritually lost and without hope. He reminds us of the reality of life apart from Christ, the transforming power of God’s mercy and grace, and the urgency of reaching our community with the gospel. As Genesis Church steps into a new season of freedom from debt and expanded ministry, we are encouraged to rise up, live on mission, and share the hope of Jesus with a world in desperate need of Him.

  • Validation | 8.14.25 | Pastor Bob Tome
    2025/08/19

From our Thursday Night series on the book of 2 Corinthians.

In this message from 2 Corinthians 3, Pastor Bob unpacks the theme of validation in Christ. Paul reminds the Corinthians that their worth and ministry are not built on human letters of recommendation or the old law, but on the new covenant written by the Spirit on their hearts. True validation comes from God’s grace, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the lives transformed through our witness. As Pastor Bob encourages, we don’t need the world’s approval to serve Jesus—God Himself has already validated us to live boldly in His freedom.

  • Branded by God | 7.27.25 | Pastor Bob Tome
    2025/07/28

From the series "Unity In The Body: A Study of Ephesians"

In this message from Ephesians 1:7–14, Pastor Bob unpacks the powerful truth that believers are branded by God—redeemed, sealed, and marked as His own. Drawing from both the Old and New Testaments, he explores how God’s grace, redemption, and eternal purpose are lavished on us through Christ and sealed by the Holy Spirit. Through vivid imagery and historical context, we’re reminded of our identity in Christ, the hope we carry, and the unity we are called to live out in the church. This is a message of assurance, encouragement, and challenge to live as those truly marked by God.
