Playing sports and running a business: some might consider them worlds apart. But whether it’s coming with the wins or losses, pressure is universal. When passion and dedication are the critical deciding factors in success, can we take those skills learned from the court into the boardroom?

Olympian Damian Martin is back for this week’s episode of the podcast. We branch out from sport and take a wider view at the life of an elite athlete, and how past experiences from the sporting world have shaped his future outside of it. He explains how professional athletes approach developing skills such as resilience and focus under pressure, and how he then applied this mindset to his working career.
