  • (230) “Rest to Increase Your Authority” with Dean Braxton
    2024/09/17

What does your physical body have to do with your calling in God? More than you might realize! The Busses are joined by a special guest and dear friend, Dean Braxton. Several years ago, Dean died, and what he has shared of the things he learned and experienced in Heaven is always deeply impacting and revelational! But recently, Dean almost died again, and this time he learned crucial truths about rest. God wants all of you - your spirit, your soul, and your body - so that you can have the authority to do what He’s called you to do! Don’t let the enemy wear your body down. Give it to God, obey Him with it, and rest so that you will have the strength to walk in His authority. You don’t want to miss all that Dean had to share!

  • (229) “What Is It Like to Walk with God?”
    2024/09/10

What does it mean for you to walk with God? The Busses take a dive into the Scriptures to help you have a better understanding. They look at how the heroes of the Bible lived in relationship with Him, and engage in a word study to show the many facets of the concept of “walking with God.” You will be encouraged to press in for a deeper relationship with God, to live in communion with Him so that your good works flow, not from a place of anxiously earning His approval, but from a place of loving obedience knowing that He is pleased with you!

    2024/09/03

“He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” Jim Elliot

What does it mean to truly surrender to God unconditionally? Is it a one-and-done decision, or is there more to it? Sharon and Philip discuss personal stories of major moments of surrender in their own lives and share many scriptures to help you get a better picture of what surrendering to God really means and why it’s so important for your destiny in Him. God has a plan for your life and you will need to have your own moments of unconditional surrender. It may not be easy, but He will give you the grace to do it as you learn to rest and trust in Him to do it His way. And His way as always better than ours!

  • (227) “What You Exalt, You Empower”
    2024/08/27

When we magnify something, we see it bigger than it was before. So how do we “magnify the Lord?” You can find scriptures all throughout the Bible that say to exalt the Lord, but what does that mean exactly? The Busses take a look into some of these scriptures and discuss the power you give to the things you exalt. The more we exalt our circumstances, sickness, or trauma, the more power we give to them. The more we exalt the Lord, the more we empower Him to work in our lives. Tune in for a powerful Bible study and an enlightening spiritual lesson from a magnifying glass.

  • (225) “If Nobody's Perfect, Why Does God Command It?”
    2024/08/13

“You therefore must be perfect, as your Heavenly Father is perfect.” Matthew 5:48 ESV

In both the Old and New Testaments, we see places where God says He wants us to be perfect, but is that even possible? Sharon and Philip dig into these verses and get to the root of what “perfection” really means so you can have a better picture of what the Lord is saying. He wants you whole, complete, mature, and lacking in nothing. That’s something only He can do. And doesn’t that take the pressure off?! Come close to Jesus, let Him build His character in you, and you will become perfect as He completes His work in you.

  • (224) “Miracles for a Quadriplegic" with James Worrell
    2024/08/06

The Busses are joined by special guest, James Worrell, who has an amazing story to share. James has been used of God in his day-to-day life for several years, ministering to those who had need and seeing many miraculous healings along the way. Then in 2022, James had a horrific ziplining accident which broke his back and his neck, killing him on impact. Miraculously, after 15 minutes, the Lord brought him back to life. He was diagnosed quadriplegic, paralyzed from the neck down, but James refused to receive that report and chose to stand on the promises of God. Today, James is walking in and stewarding his healing. His story will encourage you to stand on the promises of God for your life and to contend for them until the miracle comes, whether instant or progressive, and then to be led by the Holy Spirit into stewarding your miracle well.

  • (223) “An Average Supernatural Life” with Mathew Reames
    2024/07/30

Can a plumber be just as supernatural as an evangelist? Or a mom as anointed as a missionary?

Mathew Reames recently joined the Busses for Global Outpouring’s Generation Awakening summer youth retreat and it was glorious! Mathew gives a taste of a message he shared with the youth, and encourages you to break down the dividing wall between the supernatural and the mundane. Mathew shares stories of encounters with the Lord in the most unexpected and average moments in his life, and gives inspiring examples of ordinary people who use their regular daily jobs as an opportunity to share the gospel.

We are all called to be supernatural. Being a plumber, a mechanic, a mom, a nurse, or a doctor can be just as supernatural as preaching to massive crowds or selling all and becoming a missionary to the unreached. Whatever God calls you to do, do that thing well, being full of the Holy Spirit, and point people to Christ.
