  • Episode 5 - Imposter Syndrome
    2023/06/02

Do you ever feel like you don't belong in the room?  Or that you're a fraud and someone is going to figure it out and the gig will be up?  Is that what is holding you back from applying to graduate school?  Or is that what has you terrified about finishing graduate school?

Joining Dr. Berger is Dr. Kelly Cichy, Associate Professor and Program Coordinator of the Human Development and Family Science Program at Kent State University.  Dr. Cichy also serves as the McNair Scholars Faculty Coordinator and with that role she has led several sessions dealing with imposter syndrome.  They talk about what it is, where it comes from, and most importantly, how to recognize it and deal with it so you can go on to be the best version of yourself.
