    Gen X has always had a bit of an identity crisis, in part as a result of our generational Chiron -- the Wounded Healer -- in the cardinal fire sign of Aries. This may explain why as youth we were accused of being the "me" generation, and it may explain our fierce sense of independence and fiestiness. This is a surface bravado designed to protect our inner child.
